Hot to very hot day forecast for upper Thailand

Hot to very hot day forecast for upper Thailand

The Thailand Meteorological Department forecast on Friday (March 13) that a thermal low covers upper Thailand, causing hot to very hot weather in the regions.

Meanwhile, the weak easterly winds across the Gulf bring less rain to the South. From March 14-17, another high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea where many areas of the upper country have hot to very hot weather. Southwesterly winds will bring humidity from the South China Sea to the Northeast, the East, the Central and the lower North regions. This will also bring summer thunderstorms, thundershowers, gusty winds, hail, and possible lightning over the upper country.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours is as follows:
Northern region: Hot to very hot in some areas; temperature lows of 17-24 degrees and highs of 38-42 degrees Celsius.
