Zoos closed, time for a scrub

Natural Resources and Environment Minister Varawut Silpa-archa said on Wednesday (March 18) he had the cooperation of the Zoological Park Organisation and told it to thoroughly clean and sterilise the facilities during the closure. 
“It offers the opportunity to renovate areas in need,” he said.
Varawut gave the same order to the National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department, noting that fewer people are visiting the national parks these days. 
“It’s a chance to revive natural resources and repair service points and accommodations. The parks will be ready to welcome tourists again after the Covid-19 situation is resolved.”
