Krungsri shuts branch after intern tests positive for Covid-19

Bank of Ayudhya Pcl (Krungsri) has closed its branch in The Mall Thaphra in Bangkok’s Thonburi district for five days after one of the interns who worked at the branch tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday (March 18).

The branch will be closed from March 18-22.
“The intern is now in hospital, and we have ordered all staff at the branch to receive a screening test and self-quarantine at home for 14 days,” the bank said.
During the closure the bank will hire professional staff to clean and disinfect the area with ozone treatment, the bank said. It will reopen on Monday (March 23).
The bank said customers could receive services at nearby branches, such as the Ratchadaphisek Road, Talad Plu and Taksin Bridge branches.
“Moreover, you can still use online services such as Krungsri Mobile App and Krungsri Online, which are convenient, easy and safe,” the bank said.
