AIS staff tests positive for Covid-19

"One employee who works at AIS Tower 1 on the 19th floor tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday night. However, that employee has not been working in direct contact with customer service," the company statement said.
The company said it immediately activated an emergency plan and closed the AIS Building 1 for cleaning and sanitising with deep-cleaning in that area and the surrounding areas with the same standards as hospitals and the Ministry of Public Health, it added.
AIS also informed its employees on the 19th floor to quarantine themselves at home and observe the symptoms for 14 days from March 21 to April 3 and report their symptoms to the manager every day.
If there are any suspicious symptoms, employees have to undergo medical checkup at either a company-linked hospital or a leading standardised hospital immediately.
AIS also asked for cooperation from all parties to screen information received, especially on social media, and refrain from sharing inaccurate news to prevent confusion.
