Meanwhile, the Department of Disease Control’s deputy director general Asadang Ruayajin said personal information of the infected prisoner had not been checked. 
The Department of Disease Control and Department of Corrections , he said, are collaborating to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in prisons. 
“Currently, visits are not allowed, and new prisoners are screened” he said. “Moreover, those suspected of being infected are moved to secluded areas as a preventive measure," he said.

Dept to follow report of infected prisoner

The Department of Corrections has not received a report on the prisoner said to have contracted Covid-19 , despite the case being raised by the government’s Covid-19 news centre, said director general Narat Sawettanan.
