Student wear maker handing out face masks with three layers
People queue up to receive free face masks at the Bang Lamphu branch of TraSamor on Tuesday (March 31).
Samor Thong Garment, the manufacturer and distributor of “TraSamor” student wear , is making 300,000 face masks from muslin cotton, polyester fibre, and spunbond cloth for distribution to the public through its nationwide network.
The mask has three layers that can guard against moisture, dust, and virus. In addition, it contains no chemicals and can be washed up to 100 times.
“We are always concerned with people's safety and health and would like to help out at this difficult time by handing out 300,000 face masks for free at our stores and the premises of our partners,”said a company official.
“The first batch of 120,000 pieces will be given away from today onwards, while the second batch of 180,000 pieces is currently under production and will be distributed soon”.
