CP Group sends condolences to family of late financial adviser

Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) extended its condolences to the family members and colleagues of Pakpoom Vallisuta, chairman of The Quant Group, who succumbed to Covid-19 on Wednesday (April 1).

Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) extended its condolences to the family members and colleagues of Pakpoom Vallisuta, chairman of The Quant Group, who succumbed to Covid-19 on Wednesday (April 1).
CP Group chairman Supakit Chearavanont and CEO and president Suphachai Chearavanont also wrote personal condolence letters to Vallisuta’s family.
As a financial adviser to CP Group, Vallisuta had gone to the United Kingdom four weeks ago to oversee negotiations related to CP’s acquisition of Tesco operations.
C.P. Group announced on Wednesday that its business delegation travelled back to Thailand from the United Kingdom after a business negotiation on March 9th, 2020, and that  Vallisuta did not travel with the group as previously reported.
The group also insisted that upon return, every member of the delegation tested negative and went into self-quarantine for three weeks. It added that reports of an executive from this delegation being treated for Covid-19 were therefore false.
CP Group has also announced that it strictly adheres to Covid-19 preventive policies and guidelines, and is applying work-from-home procedures.
