Governor Jamroen Tipyapongtada signed the order on Thursday (April 2).
The order requires 24-hour convenience stores and other similar stores to close from 10pm to 4am. Besides, hotels, resorts, and similar kinds of accommodations will be closed as well.
However, hotels or resorts with accommodated guests will be allowed to operate until all guests leave. They are prohibited from receiving new guests.
Hotels and resorts, which have been used as field hospitals and local quarantine places, can remain open for the government to tackle Covid-19.
The province is banning the entry or exit of people, except medical or public health personnel, and other persons related to rescue, stock market, financial institution, telecommunication, post, transportation service of goods and medical supplies, or court.
The exempted persons must get the permission of communicable disease control officials, and inform the officials before leaving.
