PAT introduces measures in line with battle against Covid-19

“The employees will be divided into two groups, who will work in shifts until further notice. Employees working from home will have to report via the online system,” PAT director-general Kamolsak Promprayoon said on Friday (March 27).
He also said that the Bangkok Port is operating as normal and that having employees work from home will not affect the service standards.
“For customers who wish to complete their financial transactions at the one-stop service centre, PAT has set up an additional payment service point on the first floor of the dental building in the Bureau of Medicine and Health complex on Kasemrat Road,” he said.
“We are providing eight cash payment points and two drive-through points to ease transactions and reduce congestion,” he said.
He also said that PAT has implemented strict measures in line with the International Health Regulations to screen people for Covid-19.
“We have set up screening points for employees and customers, and have been disinfecting PAT offices and the Bangkok Port area,” he said. “Employees have been instructed to wear face masks while in the office, and we have marked out points where people can stand in elevators and cafeterias in line with the social-distancing measures.”
He said these measures have been put in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and to show responsibility to the public.
