Pattalung eyes lockdown extension to April 30
The southern province of Pattalung might have to extend its lockdown period from the original end date of April 16 to April 30 if the rate of Covid-19 infections does not slow down, said governor Kukiat Wongkrapan on Friday (April 10).
If imposed, the extension will match lockdowns in the neighbouring provinces of Songkhla and Trang, which have closed their borders until April 30.
Pattalung has reported a total of 14 cases of the virus, of which six have recovered.
