61 Pakistan returnees released from isolation in Pattani

On Monday (April 13), 61 of the 237 students who returned from Pakistan on March 28 were released from quarantine in Prince of Songkla University’s Pattani campus, with the provincial governor, government agents and caretakers showing up to bid them a farewell.

The remainder of the students are under quarantine in Yala and Narathiwat.


Before leaving the campus, however, the youngsters were provided with tips on how to protect themselves and others from the virus.


According to the latest figures, three new Covid-19 cases have been found in Pattani province, bringing the total to 77 patients, with 18 still waiting to be confirmed.
