200 Thais in Malaysia handed rice, dried food

A Malaysia International Search and Rescue (M team distributed rice and dried food to around 200 Thais living in Kuala Lumpur, Kelantan and Terengganu states on Sunday as part of cooperation between Thailand and Malaysia amid the Covid-19 crisis.

Department of Mineral Fuels spokesman Supalak Pananurak said his department, as a representative in operating the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Authority (MTJA), previously discussed with the Malaysian government how to help Thais in that country.
The MTJA then collaborated with Hess Oil Company of Thailand, a PSC contractor, to help Thais through the Royal Thai Embassy, providing rice and dried food for
MISAR distribution.
