The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has set up two free community pantries to relieve hardships in communities near its Chatuchak offices in Bangkok.

“On the occasion of the 28th anniversary of SEC’s founding, the commission has set up two cabinets in front of and behind the office to relieve daily financial burdens of people in communities nearby the office,” she said.
“This is an opportunity for SEC officials and other kind-hearted people to share items such as food and other necessities with people who are suffering the impacts of the Covid-19 outbreak.”
She said the SEC officials were happy to help society and communities surrounding the office.
“We would like to invite people who want to help others, to add necessities to our cabinets,” she added.
