Nong Khai Walking Street opens this evening
Nong Khai province will reopen the Khaem Khong Market, also known as the Nong Khai Walking Street, along the Mekong River on Saturday (May 16) evening after being closed for two months.
Weerachai Mongkolpoomrat, deputy mayor of Nong Kai Municipality, said that the provincial communicable diseases committee had given permission for the reopening of the Saturday walking street.
The province has already told vendors there to strictly follow hygiene standards. However the province has banned any shows at the venue.
He also advised visitors to wear masks and observe social distancing. The walking street will be open from 4pm to 10pm.
