3 new virus cases in past 24 hours
Thailand reported three new cases and no deaths over a 24-hour period, Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman of the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, said today (May 18).
Of the three new cases, one is a 29-year-old woman, while the second one is a 55-year-old man. The third is a 27-year-old Phuket woman who had been in contact with a previously confirmed virus patient, who lives in Prachin Buri.
The number of confirmed cases presently stands at 3,031, while fatalities remain at 56. Of the total cases, 2,857 patients have recovered.
