Teachers take students with no Net access to friends’ homes to study

Teachers from Nakhon Ratchasima’s Baan Tha Luang school went the extra mile, taking students with no television or Internet access to their friends’ homes to study online.

The operation came to light today (May 19).
The teachers also saw to it that the students followed safe social distancing by spacing out seats. They wanted the students “to study online with their colleagues instead of being alone”.
On Monday, government spokeswoman Narumon Pinyosinwat said the prime minister emphasised that students study online until the Covid-19 situation improves and schools can reopen.
Meanwhile, netizens, both students and parents, complained of being hit by a variety of problems on the first day of online and satellite distance learning. The hashtag #เรียนออนไลน์ (studying online) was ranked as the number one trending topic on Twitter on Monday as netizens voiced their problems that included no learning materials, inappropriate teaching media, technical issues, unable to note content in time and website crashes.
