Finance Minister Uttama Savanayana visited Nakhon Pathom province on Friday (May 22) to check the disbursement of government aid to farmers impacted by Covid-19 crisis, as well as the money disbursed under the "Rao Mai Thing Gun" (We do not leave anyone behind) campaign.

The minister encouraged local farmers and SME entrepreneurs on the economic situation. He was welcomed by Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperative (BAAC) local executives.
Uttama informed that BAAC will disburse Bt5,000 to suffering farmers for three months through its 1,200 branches nationwide. The disbursement started on May 15 and a total of 3,222,952 farmers were paid as of Thursday, totalling Bt16.115 billion.
He added that there were eligible farmers to whom the government could not disburse money as their accounts were not found. He asked farmers nationwide to check their eligibility and give the correct bank details on the website
