Man allegedly shoots dead his two brothers in inheritance dispute

A man allegedly shot his two brothers dead at a house in Min Buri’s Soi Suwintawong 28 on Sunday after a reported dispute over a pick-up truck, inheritance left for one of them by their deceased father.

On being alerted about the fatal shooting at 5.30pm, Chalongkrung Police Station officers rushed to the scene to find the body of Weerachai Mustofadi, 37, in the front yard, a gunshot wound to his head. Not far from there they found the body of Sarayut Mustofadi, 39, with three gunshot wounds to his body.
Witnesses reportedly told the police that the two victims came to the house, which belongs to Seri Mustofadi, their eldest brother.
“They had a violent quarrel over the money that Seri had promised to give Sarayut for a pick-up truck, which was the inheritance their deceased father left for Sarayut but which Seri took and parked at his house,” said one witness, claiming that the three brothers were seen arguing over the vehicle several times before the shooting.
The witnesses reportedly added that during the fight they heard multiple gunshots before seeing Seri dashing away on his motorcycle.
The police are now tracking him down while forensic officers have taken the bodies to the Forensic Institute of Police General Hospital to perform autopsies.
