Gold shop owner injures self in failed bid to stop robber

A gold shop owner in Nakhon Si Thammarat province injured himself as he tried in vain to stop a thief from making off with several gold ornaments on Monday (May 25).

The owner of Si Udom shop in Ratchdamnoen district, as well as the thief, were wounded by glass shards from a shattered glass window.

Police have launched a manhunt for the robber, who was described as wearing a black jacket, black jeans and red trainers.
