Monkeying around in Bang Khun Thian

Monkeying around in Bang Khun Thian

Monkeys on Bang Khun Thian-Beach Road are no longer going hungry or thirsty as people are increasingly returning to feed them amid an easing in the Covid-19 crisis.

The monkeys, which have suffered from a food shortage as visitors were confined to their homes during the lockdown, were forced to forage for the little food available in garbage cans. Some have also been killed by vehicles dashing down the road. Monkeying around in Bang Khun Thian
However, their suffering has come to end. The Bang Khun Thian District Office said tourists and locals alike can now visit the macaques and are urging visitors to bring food along “to make the monkeys happy again”. Monkeying around in Bang Khun Thian Monkeying around in Bang Khun Thian
