Thundershowers forecast for most of Thailand

Keep your umbrella at hand: isolated heavy rains are expected in the North, the Central region, the East and the South (west coast), the Thailand Meteorological Department forecast today (June 9), warning that people should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods.

It advised all vessels in the Andaman Sea to proceed with caution and keep away from thundershowers until tomorrow.

Here’s the weather forecast for the next 24 hours:
Northern region: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 24-26 degrees and highs of 34-35 degrees Celsius.
Northeastern region: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 30 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 24-26 degrees and highs of 33-35 degrees Celsius.
Central region: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-25 degrees, highs of 33-35 degrees Celsius.
Eastern region: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-26 degrees, highs of 29-34 degrees Celsius; waves 1-2 metres high and 2 metres during thundershowers.
Southern region (east coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 23-27 degrees, highs of 31-33 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high and 2 metres during thundershowers.
Southern region (west coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 22-25 degrees, highs of 30-32 degrees Celsius; waves 2 metres high and more than 2 metres during thundershowers.
Bangkok and surrounding areas: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 24-26 degrees, highs of 32-35 degrees Celsius.
