Rains ease in upper Thailand but another wet spell looms

Rains ease in upper Thailand but another wet spell looms

Except the South, other regions in the country will see a decline in rainfall as the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea and Thailand is weakening, the Thailand Meteorological Department forecast on Friday (June 12).

The department also said that the tropical depression covering the Philippines will move to the south of China during June 13-16, causing the southwest monsoon that prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand to intensify and result in more rain and isolated heavy rain.
