Thundershowers forecast for most of Thailand

The Thailand Meteorological Department forecast on Thursday (June 18) that a moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and Thailand.

Heavy rains are expected in some parts of the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South.
People living in those risky areas should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods.
The weather forecast for the next 24 hours is as follows:
Northern region: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the areas and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-25 degrees Celsius and highs of 32-34°C.
Northeastern region: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the areas and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-24°C and highs of 30-33°C.
Central region: Cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the areas and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 22-25°C, highs of 32-34°C.
Eastern region: Cloudy with thundershowers in 70 per cent of the areas and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 24-25°C, highs of 31-33°C; waves a metre high and two metres during thundershowers.
Southern region (east coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the areas and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 24-25°C, highs of 32-35°C; waves a metre high and two metres during thundershowers.
Southern region (west coast): Cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the areas and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-25°C, highs of 32-34°C; waves a metre high and two metres during thundershowers.
Bangkok and surrounding areas: Cloudy with thundershowers in 70 per cent of the areas and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 25-26°C, highs of 33-34°C.
