One-month-old puppy beheaded in Buriram

Two women have lodged a police complaint over intruders beheading a puppy in their house.

Suwan Sawasdee, 49, and her daughter Benjarat Insharee, 29, told police on Wednesday (June 17) that unknown persons had entered their house and cut off the head of their one-month-old puppy and left only its decapitated body.
Benjarat told police that she and her mother has raised a dog named "Kek Huay" for around 5 or 6 years and she was never aggressive towards strangers. She gave birth to four puppies a month ago. The beheaded puppy was one of the four, she said, adding that she aimed to find houses for them through social media channels.
On Monday (June 15), Benjarat's sister went to feed the dogs in the morning and found one of the puppies beheaded.
Benjarat said that they could not think of any suspects as the dogs were peaceful.
