As of 9.30am, the buying price of a gold bar was Bt25,750 per baht weight and selling price Bt26,850, while gold ornaments were priced at Bt25,286.88 and Bt26,350, respectively. 
The Gold Spot Index price this morning moved to around US$1,768 (Bt54,661.30) per ounce after the price rose by $9.7 to $1780.3 per ounce at Friday’s close. 
The price of gold was supported by investors buying the safe haven asset as the stock market fell over concern of a second wave of coronavirus infections in the United States and other countries.

Gold price drops slightly

The gold price decreased by Bt50 in morning trade today (June 29), the Gold Traders Association reported.
