Venus will shine at its brightest for the last time this year early tomorrow (July 8), the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand said on Facebook.

An official said that from 3.25am until dawn tomorrow, Venus in the east will be visible to the naked eye.

Venus is the brightest planet and the second planet in the solar system.

People will be able to catch a glimpse of this planet in crescent shape if they look through a telescope.

Venus is called both the morning star and evening star because people can see the planet for a short while before sunrise or after sunset.
