Isolated heavy rain forecast for Northeast, East, South
Expect isolated heavy showers mainly in the upper Northeast, the East and the South, the Thailand Meteorological Department said today (July 29), warning people in these areas to beware of severe conditions.
Here’s the weather forecast for the next 24 hours:
North: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 23-27 degrees and highs of 31-36 degrees Celsius.
Northeast: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 24-25 degrees and highs of 29-35 degrees Celsius.
Central: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 24-26 degrees, highs of 34-36 degrees Celsius.
East: Cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 24-27 degrees, highs of 32-35 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
South (east coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-26 degrees, highs of 33-36 degrees Celsius; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
South (west coast): Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rains; temperature lows of 23-25 degrees, highs of 30-32 degree Celsius; waves 1-2 metres high and 2 metres during thundershowers.
Bangkok and surrounding areas: Cloudy with thundershowers in 40 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 24-25 degrees, highs of 34-36 degrees Celsius.
