Free train rides for mothers and children on August 12
The Bangkok Mass Transit System (BTS) is marking Mother’s Day on August 12 by providing free tickets to all mothers travelling with their children, as well as youngsters travelling on their own, provided they are no taller than 90 centimetres.
The freebies are available on all BTS routes as well as on BRT buses from 6am to midnight.
BTS executive director Surapong Laoha-Unya said to be eligible, mothers and their children must depart together and arrive at their destination together.
The free tickets can be picked up at ticket booths at all BTS stations.
