Gold remains unchanged from Monday closing
The price of gold on Tuesday (September 8) remained unchanged from the rate at close on Monday, the Gold Traders Association said.
As of 9.29am, the buying price of gold bar was Bt28,550 per baht weight and selling price Bt28,650, while gold ornaments were priced at Bt28,030.84and Bt29,150, respectively.
Globally, the precious metal was priced at US$ 1,926 per ounce, while markets in the US were closed for Labour Day.
In Hong Kong, gold opened on Tuesday morning HK$30 cheaper at HK$17,820 per ounce or around Bt72,240.40.
