Man steps in to help homeless pitbull owner

A woman who owned six pitbull dogs but was evicted from her previous rented apartment due to complaints from neighbours about the dog menace, has found a benefactor who has allowed her to stay in his unoccupied flat in Bangkok.

Vibhavadi Vet Clinic published a message to Hong, or "Cake", the owner of the dogs, on its Facebook page that a Facebook account holder called “Kongpapa Noi Makam” (real name “Somboon”) had informed the clinic about the man's intention to help the dog owner

He has invited Cake to take her dogs to KC Garden Home village, Khlong Sam Wa district, Bangkok, as he and his wife did not live there at the moment.

On September 7, residents of the condo building where Cake lived had sought the media's help to solve the problem of a tenant who regularly released seven American Pitbulls from the cage to rage all over the building, leaving faeces on the corridors.

The pitbull lover was later asked to leave the flat within three days. She decided to immediately pack her belongings and moved out on September 11. Only six of her dogs accompanied her, as one had reportedly died.

She was later spotted on the side of the road, lying on the ground with only three dogs on September 12. It is not known what happened to the other three pitbulls. She told policemen from Pak Khlong Rangsit station, who came to her aid, that she was stressed and unable to find a place to live in.
