More rain, isolated heavy showers forecast for upper Thailand today
More showers are expected in upper Thailand, with isolated heavy rain in the lower North, the Northeast, the upper Central region and the East, the Meteorological Department said today (September 23), while a weakening southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea and the South will bring isolated showers there.

North: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 23-25 degrees Celsius and highs of 32-34°C.
Northeast: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 22-25°C and highs of 32-34°C.
Central: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 23-26°C, highs of 33-34°C.
East: Cloudy with thundershowers in 70 per cent of the area and isolated heavy rain; temperature lows of 23-25°C, highs of 32-33°C; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
South (east coast): Partly cloudy with thundershowers in 30 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 23-25°C, highs of 33-34°C; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
South (west coast): Partly cloudy with thundershowers in 30 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 23-24°C, highs of 32-34°C; waves a metre high and 1-2 metres during thundershowers.
Bangkok and surrounding areas: Mostly cloudy with thundershowers in 60 per cent of the area; temperature lows of 25-26°C, highs of 32-34°C.
