Ubon Ratchathani underground cable project underway at a cost of Bt264m

The Ubon Municipality has joined hands with the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) to move electricity cables underground at a total cost of Bt264 million.

The work will initially start from a radius of 3.1 kilometres from the old city zone and is expected to be completed in the middle of 2021.
The municipality will contribute Bt118 million towards the work, while the PEA is investing Bt146 million.
Operation areas include Upraj Road around the fountain roundabout, Chayangkul Road, the Suriyat Road intersection, Thung Sri Mueang Road, Ratchabut Road, Nakhon Ban Road, Sri Narong Road and Khuean Thani Road.
Work is expected to be completed in June 2021.
