Nothing was found the man’s pockets other than an ID card identifying him as 42-year-old Pakin (last name withheld). The man was about 165-centimetres tall.
Police have contacted the man’s relatives and they were due to meet the authorities on Friday.
According to the forensic doctor from Siriraj Hospital, no wounds were found on the corpse and the cause of death may be from drowning. The body will undergo a more detailed investigation in hospital.
