Thung Luang station police arrested one Chaiphat, or Jack (last name withheld), aged 46, at a house in the subdistrict in Ratchaburi’s Pak Thor district for stealing women’s underwear.

Police reportedly found more than 70 panties, three brassieres and two shorts, as well as a small amount of methamphetamine and amphetamine tablets in the house.
“Two women had filed complaints with the station that a thief had broken into their homes and stolen their underwear, so we tracked down the suspect to his house and arrested him,” the police said.

Chaiphat, who makes a living buying used or broken items from local people and selling the items to junk shops, reportedly admitted that he stole the underwear because he felt lonely after his wife of 10 years left him recently. He also reportedly admitted that he masturbated while smelling the stolen underwear.
Although Chaiphat said he stole the items a few times, police believed that from the amount of evidence, he must have done it at least 20 times.
Police are asking any women missing their underwear lately to visit the station and check the evidence.
The suspect was taken to Thung Luang station and charged with theft and drug possession.
