Bangkok Christian College closed today amid protests
Bangkok Christian College suspended classes on Thursday amid an expected anti-government rally on Silom Road in the evening.
The school announced it was closing temporarily to ensure the safety of its students and parents. It said it would reopen for classes on Friday.
“However, the school officials are working as normal,” the announcement added.
On Wednesday, the pro-democracy protesters said on Twitter that anti-government rallies in Bangkok on Thursday would be held outside the Nation Tower at 4pm, outside Sri Maha Mariamman Temple on Silom Road at 5pm, and the skywalk near MBK Centre at 5.30pm.
