Summer season officially arrives in Thailand, says meteorological dept
This year’s summer has officially arrived in Thailand and is expected to last until mid-May, the Thai Meteorological Department announced on Friday.
According to the announcement, Thailand's winter has ended as temperatures in the upper part of the country have risen, and southeasterly winds have replaced the northeast monsoon.
These phenomena mark the beginning of summer in Thailand, the department stated.
However, cool mornings are expected to persist in the North and Northeast for some time. The summer season is expected to end in mid-May 2025.
