Thai Airways service almost fully restored with all flights operating

All 122 inbound and 123 outbound flights operated as planned, while 150 outbound and transit bags and 412 inbound bags still require handling.

  • All scheduled inbound and outbound flights for Thai Airways are now operating at 100% capacity.
  • The primary remaining task is clearing a significant, though substantially reduced, backlog of passenger baggage.
  • The cargo backlog has been completely eliminated, with no items remaining in the warehouse.
  • Staffing levels have exceeded planned targets, with attendance at over 105% to support the service restoration.

Almost all services at Thai Airways International Public Company Limited have returned to normal, according to a report from the Ministry of Transport.

The remaining work involves clearing the baggage backlog.

All inbound and outbound flights operated as planned, representing 100% of the schedule, with 122 inbound flights and 123 outbound flights.

The baggage backlog for outbound and connecting flights fell to 150 items from a peak of 7,175.

The inbound backlog continued to decline, reaching 712 items from a peak of 5,423.

Passengers have made contact to collect 300 of these items, leaving 412 still requiring handling.

Staff attendance reached 105.48% of the planned level, with 1,348 employees reporting for duty against a target of 1,278.

There is no longer any backlogged cargo in the warehouse.

However, warehouse space is still needed to accommodate shippers collecting cargo that has already been broken down.
