
The 2026 Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship has reached the quarter-finals, with eight teams remaining in contention for qualification places at the 2028 Olympic Games and the 2027 Women’s Volleyball World Championship.
The AVC Women’s Volleyball Continental Championship is being held in Tianjin, China, where regional powers China, Japan and Thailand advanced from the opening round with perfect records of three victories and nine points.
Thailand will face South Korea in their quarter-final at 1pm on Thursday (August 27), with the match available exclusively on Monomax.
The tournament champions will qualify directly for the women’s volleyball competition at the 2028 Olympic Games in the United States, while the top three teams will secure places at the 2027 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship.
