Thailand’s Sophia Montgomery won gold in the women’s dinghy (ILCA 6) at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games on Friday (October 2), adding a 13th gold medal to Thailand’s tally.

The 23-year-old Thai-American sailor delivered consistent performances throughout the competition before finishing at the top of the overall standings to secure the Asian Games title.
