The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched “The Night by Amazing Thailand Season 2: Music in Memory” as part of its efforts to expand night tourism.
Under the theme “HARMONY OF HEALING: Songs to heal the body, melodies to heal the mind”, the event runs from Friday (October 16, 2026) to Tuesday (October 27, 2026) at Lumpini Park in Bangkok, bringing together music, contemporary arts and culture, light displays and nature.
It aims to offer a new tourism experience, with more than 60,000 attendees expected and economic value projected to exceed THB200 million.
TAT governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool said travellers increasingly prioritise the experiences and emotions associated with their trips.
These include discovering fresh perspectives on destinations, taking time to relax and find happiness, and experiencing cultural identity in different ways.
TAT is therefore promoting value-based tourism alongside night tourism.
It is drawing on local cultural assets, ways of life and each area’s potential to create distinctive experiences and economic opportunities for local businesses.
The Night by Amazing Thailand Season 2: Music in Memory runs from Friday (October 16, 2026) to Tuesday (October 27, 2026), from 4pm to 9.30pm, turning a green space in the heart of Bangkok into a place to relax through music and art.
Members of the public, along with Thai and international tourists, can experience Bangkok from a fresh perspective.
Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi is scheduled to visit the event and give a special singing performance on Wednesday (October 21, 2026).
More than 46 artists will take turns performing throughout the event.
The programme spans orchestral music, contemporary music from Thailand’s four regions, songs from the 1970s and 1980s, 1990s hits, luk thung, luk krung, pop, love songs and reggae.
The line-up includes Tor Saksit, Moderndog, Ice Sarunyu, Kob Songsit, Gun Napat, Gam Wichayanee, RASMEE Isan Soul and Mocca Garden.
The Art, Light & Interactive Experience area also invites visitors to engage with creative works.
These include BOB The Nice Guy, which shares positive energy through hugs, and The Seed, where visitors can design seeds to express their feelings.
Sommarkz presents artwork featuring illuminated balls that convey encouraging messages.
Visitors can also listen to the sounds of nature and take part in Grounding Therapy amid the green surroundings.
Mini Stage activities focus on physical and mental wellbeing, with yoga, inspirational talks by Oui Buddha Bless and Handpan Sound Healing sessions.
The handpan sessions are led by Jung of CRESCENDO.
The programme also features Thai cultural performances, including khon masked dance drama, small puppet theatre and Nora Chatri dance drama, as well as DJ sets blending Thai and Southeast Asian music with contemporary rhythms.
Do-it-yourself workshops and massage services are also offered free of charge, although some services have limited availability.
TAT hopes the event will encourage more evening travel and visitor spending, building on Bangkok’s potential as a destination offering a variety of experiences.
It also aims to extend economic opportunities to nearby tourism and service businesses, with targets of more than 60,000 attendees and over THB200 million in economic value over the 12 days.
Admission to The Night by Amazing Thailand Season 2: Music in Memory is free.
The event runs from Friday (October 16, 2026) to Tuesday (October 27, 2026), from 4pm to 9.30pm, at Lumpini Park in Bangkok.
