Chiang Mai's Warhol

Chiang Mai art gallery DC opened last weekend at the Tha Pae Gate with more than 30 works by foreign and local artists including Araya Rasjarmrearnsook, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Navin Rawanchaikul and the late Montien Boonma.

 

Owned by Bangkok-based collector Disaphol Chansiri, the 200-square-metre gallery debuts with the exhibition “Highlight Lights Series No 1”, which also features pieces by Man Ray, Josef Beuyes, Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons and Huang Yan from Disaphol’s personal collection.
