Big hits with the troops at Oops!

Big hits with the troops at Oops!

One award that Khemmanit "Pancake" Chamikorn and Arak "Pe" Armonsupakitsiri wish they could put on the mantelpiece with their other trophies is, alas, only on paper. Oops! - the entertainment magazine from Poly Plus - has named them the hottest couple of

That’s in real life. Onscreen, the magazine’s favourite couple is Nadet Kukikuya and Urassaya “Yaya” Sperbund, and few people will dispute that after seeing their latest soap opera on Channel 3, “Game Rai Game Rak”.
Channel 3 scores again with Outstanding Performer of the Year – Araya “Chompoo” A Hargett for her role in the controversial “Dok Som See Thong”. That means Chompoo out-acted her male co-stars.
Soopsip formally endorses the choice and hereby announces that Chompoo is set to star in a new project that’s sure to shake up show business. We can’t say more, but it looks like both her singing and acting talents will get a workout.

Hunting game?
Work Point Entertainment’s long-established game show “Ching Roi, Ching Larn” resurfaces on January 1 on Channel 3, arch rival of its original home, Channel 7. Bright-eyed new title: “Ching Roi Ching Larn Sunshine Day”.
Work Point chief Panya Nirankul has declined to say why the popular show got shipped out. “Do you have any problems with Channel 7?” a reporter asked him.
“I’m not trying to avoid answering the question,” he replied, and then did. “It’s now confirmed that our show will be moved to Channel 3 on Sundays from 3 to 5pm.”
Evidently the host and crew will be getting up a lot earlier every day, then, because the show was always on late at night on Channel 7.
“‘Ching Roi, Ching Larn’ is the top game show in terms of ratings, but we’re just a tenant, and if the landlord shows us the door, we must leave. If we had the choice we’d stay.”
This will be the show’s third incarnation. It started out on Channel 5 more than two decades ago.
