HP invites high school students to join "HP Smart Magazine Contest"

Offering more than Bt200,000 scholarships for winners

 

HP is announcing the ‘HP Smart magazine Contest’, a competition designed especially for secondary school students to showcase their creativity through innovative printed magazine designs utilizing the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage printers. Prizes including Bt200,000 scholarships and many more will be offered to the winners.
 
As a world leader in printing, Imaging & Printing Group, Hewlett-Packard (Thailand), realizes the importance of the promotion of skills and creativity for young Thai learners though educational means. This has led to a commitment to research and development of products to meet demands of the education market, including the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage Solution. It was developed to meet specific requirements in educational printing environments, particularly the need of high volume printing. So both teachers and students can now make best use of printing materials with superb value of HP authentic ink. Furthermore, HP has provided support on this and organized a series of activities to offer added values to target groups consistently.
 
The “HP Smart Magazine Contest” provides a platform for students from secondary schools (Mathayomsuksa 1-6) nationwide to submit their entry of magazine designs consisting of photos and content in the length of 20-40 pages. Contestants can also use existing magazine templates from www.hp.com/th/inkadvantage and www.smartmagazine.in.th or other computer-aided applications and programs. The content of the entry must comply within the creative and ethical requirements, and include three sections, 1) relevant special interests, 2) IT interests and 3) self-development. 
 
Interested students may apply and submit their entries at www.hp.com/th/inkadvantage, or www.smartmagazine.in.th.

Top 10 finalist teams will be chosen by a judging panel consisting of the organizer and a distinguished committee for further presentation in the final round on May 19, 2012. The winner and runners-up will receive scholarships and prizes worth more than Bt200,000.
