Chatuchak Market rents settled
The State Railway of Thailand's board of directors has approved the single rental rate for all retail space at Chatuchak Market.
According to SRT Governor Yuthana Thapcharoen, all retailers are required to pay the upfront fee of Bt50,000 and then subjected to the monthly rent of Bt3,157 for a period of three years.
The contract can be renewed for every two years. The rents include utilities fees.
Government Savings Bank is ready to extend loans for the entry fee, Yuthana said.
The market now houses 8,875 retail slots.
