The Columbia Trail Masters returns to Phuket province on May 6, offering a thrilling twist to the hedonistic, beach culture. This second edition is open for three categories: 21.5-km Off Road Half Marathon, 10-km trail run and 3-km fun run/walk. Centara moves to Koh Chang
Centara Hotels & Resorts has assumed management of the Koh Chang Tropicana Resort & Spa, located on the island’s Klong Praow Beach. The property will undergo extensive renovations and upgrading, while continuing to remain open to guests, and on October 15 this year will be rebranded as Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort – marking Centara’s first property in Koh Chang.
PG/MH code sharing agreement
Bangkok Airways and Malaysia Airlines are set for a code-sharing operation. Kuala Lumpur-based Malaysia Airlines will set its MH marketing flight code on Bangkok Airways’ jet services for Bangkok-Koh Samui, Bangkok-Phuket, Bangkok-Chiang Mai, Koh Samui-Phuket and Koh Samui-Kuala Lumpur. Bangkok Airways will codeshare on Malaysia Airlines’ Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur-Phuket services.
