Ensogo unveils the first ever daily deal market survey in Thailand

Strengthening its position as Thailand's number one daily deal provider

 

Ensogo, a LivingSocial company, the number one daily deal site in Thailand, reveals the result of the first ever Daily Deal market survey in Thailand, conducted by AC Nielson, showing that 51% of respondents indicated Ensogo as their top of mind daily deal brand. This emphasizes Ensogo as the number one daily deal provider in the country as well as its commitment to enhance unique and smart lifestyle with amazing deals and activities line-up for this year. 
 
The survey sample size of 1,000 consists of male and female aged 18 years and older in Bangkok and urban up country that has made at least one online purchase in the past 6 months. The survey is aimed to study significant behavior of Thai consumers regarding Daily Deal site usage. 
 
Tom Srivorakul, CEO Thailand and Co-Founder of Ensogo, a LivingSocial company said, “Regarding the survey result conducted among 1,000 online shoppers, Ensogo with 68% turns out as the most well-known daily deal provider in Thailand, while 51% of them stated Ensogo as top of mind brand. Furthermore, in terms of brand positioning, respondents indicated that the brand covers all the significant daily deal features including affordable deals, safe and a wide variety of payment channel, and long deal redemption period.” 
 
Regarding the survey result from AC Neilson, averagely 65% of respondents who ever purchased the deal usually pay extra when using deals while 75% of them ever re-visit in restaurant, hotel, health and beauty, activity and service categories. The most influential source of information for daily deal users are social media (26%), friends suggestion (23%) and email advertisement from the website (16%). It is also interesting to point out that the method of accessing daily deal websites via application on smartphone (17%), mobile web browser (11%) and tablet devices (8%), when grouped together is the certain portion almost close to the access via Desktop PC at 61% and notebook at 71%. These portray the significant tendency which can be further improved along with the country’s mobile network development in the future.
