Technosale targets sales of Bt640m
Retail sales of Lamina solar films reached Bt160 million in the first quarter of this year, and the company expects another boost during the second quarter after deliveries commence for vehicles purchased at the Bangkok Motor Show.
Channapha Saisamorn, managing director of Technosale (Frey), distributor of Lamina and Lumar solar film as well as Thule accessories, said she is confident the company will meet its sales target of Bt640 million this year.
“It is expected that competition in the solar film business will heat up dramatically according to the expansion of the automobile market,” She said.
Channapha said the total solar film market is expected to reach Bt1.5 billion in value.
Thule enjoyed exceptional popularity at the recent motor show and was sold out.
“We launched new products to cater to the increased market demand. We can see this from the expansion in the pickup, sub-compact and recreational vehicle segments,” she said, adding that there is also an increase in demand for luggage accessories.
“After officially launching Thule in Thailand late last year, we received continued positive response from customers and we see that there is much room for further growth in the market,” she added.
