CPN offers "Smile Parking"

Central Pattana Plc (CPN) invests Bt120 million to develop new parking system under the concept "Smile Parking".



 The system, at 7 centres CentralPlaza Pinklao, CentralPlaza Lardprao, CentralPlaza Chaengwattana, CentralPlaza Rama3, CentralPlaza Grand Rama 9, CentralPlaza Bangna and CentralWorld, will help facilitate traffic congestion and include parking space for ladies and senior citizens.
  “According to the latest parking service survey, we found that shoppers were frustrated to find parking spaces because most of them spent more than 10-20 minutes after entering the gate until parking. Some customers drove up and down. However, after installing this innovative parking technology at CentralPlaza Pinklao, our pioneer branch for this system, customers show more satisfaction since the new system helps them spend only 5-10 minutes to find the parking," said CPN’s Senior Manager for Business Development Isareit Chirathivat.
 Under the system, when customers are entering the main gate of the parking towers, they will notice a digital board showing number of parking spaces available on each parking level. Therefore, they can head to the available parking spaces. The green light censor- wired on the ceiling of each parking lot will signify where customers can park. The light will be turn off after parking is completed. 
  Apart from customers’ satisfaction and compliments, for saving their parking time and fuel, Intelligence Parking helps reducing environment pollutions and traffic congestion, CPN stressed.
 Isareit said that in the future, CPN aims expand more “Smile Parking” system to other shopping centres in order to provide customers impressive experience and maintain its leader’s position and role model of innovation developer in service and energy saving.
