PTT issues Bt15bn bonds

PTT Plc is issuing debentures worth Bt15 billion this month, as part of its Loyalty Programme. The 7-year bonds offer 4.10 per cent in coupon rate in the first four years and 5.10 per cent in the last three years.

The bonds will be offered to existing bondholders through five banks - Bangkok Bank, Krungthai Bank, Kasikornbank, Siam Commercial Bank and Thanachart Bank.
Chief Financial Officer Tevin Vongvanich said that under the Loyalty Programme which has run for three years, existing bondholders would be the first to subscribe for new bonds.
During May 14-15, bondholders whose bonds would mature in May can subscribe for the new bonds. On May 17, bondholders of all series are entitled to file subscription orders.
The bonds are rated "AAA" by Fitch Ratings (Thailand), with stable outlook.
