TTW's investment in CKP completed in May
Thai Tap Water Supply Plc expects to complete payment for CK Power Co Ltd's new shares within May.
Sompodh Sripoom, managing director, said CKP, which is considering to expand its solar energy business, is also on schedule to list on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. It has already submitted the filing to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
TTW benefited from high temperature, which sparked water demand. In the first quarter, its consolidated revenue rose 20 per cent on year to Bt1.1 billion and net profit 30 per cent to Bt665.9 million. Water distribution volume at 64.8 million cubic metres showed a 9 per cent increase from the same period last year.
